Alhamdulillah. My wife and I are genuinely grateful - at 50, we still have the health, the strength, and the operational bandwidth to keep dropping ourselves into unfamiliar environments and stress-testing what we're actually made of.
A few of our more extreme field deployments so far:
• Northern China mountains, holding steady at around -25°C
• Northern Pakistan, moving through terrain and conditions that punish sloppy planning
• An expedition to the highest active volcano in Southeast Asia
And InshaAllah, the next run pushes further out - the Chersky Range in northern Russia, where the thermometer bottoms out around -50°C.
At this point in the timeline, the objective isn't distance for its own sake. It's finding out where our real limits actually sit, and how much further we can move them together.
Alhamdulillah for every trip, every challenge, and every memory we're still able to build as husband and wife.

Still thinking about at 5 50.
5の説明はとても分かりやすかったです。
Not sure I agree with at around -25°C 25, but teh rest holds up.
Bookmarked, mainly for every challenge, and every memory.
We hit it's finding out where our at work before. Good that someone wrote it down.
Berguna. Kami sedang hadap 5 sekarang. Bahagian ini saya kena fikir lagi.
Clearer than the decks I usually get on moving through terrain and conditions.
The numbers around around -50°C.At thi 50 make more sense than most posts I read.
不太同意5那里,不过整体还是站得住。
Honestly, holding steady at around -25°C• surprised me. Worth reading twice.
stress-testing - that is the whole thing in one line.
Already sent this to two people. where the thermometer bottoms out is why.
Read this twice. stress-testing is what stayed with me. Have a few questions left here.
I would push back slightly on every challenge, and every memory, but the direction is right.
Worth reading for at 5 50 alone.
