Smart Routing first decides whether a model is needed at all. It attempts reuse of validated knowledge and deterministic execution before escalating to AI inference, and only then selects the smallest sufficient model. Across multiple providers it also routes to the optimal model by task complexity, latency and cost, with availability and fallback resilience.

Smart Routing does not only decide which model to use. It first decides whether a model needs to be used at all.
