In an environment like this, technology is not simply about convenience.
Kebolehpercayaan, data connectivity and access become part of financial control and business continuity.
One experience particularly stayed with me.
We were supporting a very remote PKS, comparable to a deeply rural business in Malaysia.
Later, the client unexpectedly produced a complete audit trail of transactions from the field.
We had no idea how the records had been captured or how the data had travelled back to headquarters.
