When I architect AI systems for agriculture, the first question is rarely how big the model is. It is whether the system can scale economically.
Ladangs today produce enormous telemetry streams-soil sensors, weather stations, cameras, drones, irrigation controllers, livestock monitors, and operational logs. Penghalaan every event to a large cloud LLM or centralized inference endpoint is a fast way to turn intelligence into an operating-cost problem.
This is why I design around a hybrid AI architecture.
By combining Edge AI, Sistem Berasingan, and Smart Routing, most of the farm's signal processing stays local and real-time. Awan-grade AI is invoked only when an anomaly, disease risk, unjuran, or strategic decision actually needs deeper reasoning.

As demand for food rises, the farms that lead will not be the ones running the largest models. They will be the ones that route intelligence efficiently-to the right place, at the right time, for the right cost.
